Airport Information Desk

An airport information desk will be available at each of the Taoyuan Int’l Airport terminals to provide assistance to conference participants. Please look for the sign of ICASSP 2009 and follow the direction to our desk. Please note that the taxi/bus drivers do not necessarily speak very good English.

Complimentary Airport Pick-up Service

Complimentary shuttle bus pick-up services at the both airport terminals have been arranged. Please come to the ICASSP information desk at the airport arrival hall of both terminals, where directions to take the shuttle buses will be given.

General Information for Airport Transportation

Bus

Paid-bus service to Taipei City is available at the airport arrival hall. Charge varies from NT$110 to NT$140 per person.

  • Terminal 1 Bus Platform: On the southwest side of the Arrival Passenger Reception Area
  • Terminal 2 Bus Platform: On the northeast side of the Arrival Passenger Reception Area

Taxi

Taxi queues are outside the Arrival Halls of both terminals. Airport taxis charge according to the meter in addition to a 50% surcharge (highway tolls not included) and provide transport to anywhere in Taiwan. (A typical taxi fare to Taipei is approximately NT$1,200.)

Not all taxi drivers in Taipei speak very good English. Please download and print the Chinese-English instruction cards so you may use them when needed.

Limousine Service

Cost of limousine service differs for each hotel, approximately from NT$1600 – NT$2000. To arrange a limousine to pick up, please contact your reserved hotel contact person as bellow:
