ICASSP 2009 has reserved a number of hotel rooms at favorable rates in the following hotels for participants. All of the hotel rooms of different room types below are LIMITED and are subject to availability on a first come, first served basis. If you like a specific hotel or room type, please book your room with that hotel as early as possible.

The room rate below is inclusive of 5% tax and is subject to 10% service charge.

The room rate below is exclusive of daily breakfast.

The currency below is calculated at US$1 = NT$33 as a reference only (Based on Dec. 2008). Actual exchange rate may differ.

Hotel Room Reservations

In order to secure your reservation, Hotels will require an advance payment of one night's deposit ("the Prepayment"). Confirmed reservations will be held until 12 noon on the following day of the confirmed arrival date.

The Prepayment will be deducted from your guest room charges upon checking out, or from any cancellation or amendment charges, if applicable.

Please note that the Prepayment is not a cancellation charge.

Final Payment

All guest room charges will be billed by the hotel directly to the guests, which shall be settled upon check-out through cash or credit card in New Taiwan Dollars.

Amendments

Any amendment made on or after 04 April 2009 to each confirmed reservation, resulting in a reduced length of stay, will incur a room charge equivalent to the full length of stay as confirmed.

Terms and Conditions of Hotel Bookings

All Participants will be contracting directly with the Hotels for their room reservations and deposit. All deposits, cancellation and amendment fees are payable to the Hotels.

Early Check-in

To ensure early check-in, please book the room from the night before which is equivalent to one night's charge.

Late Check-out

Day Use till 1800 hours:	50% of room charge
After 1800 hours:	1 night room charge

Cancellation / No Show

Due to the favorable hotel rates that have been secured, in the event of a cancellation of a confirmed reservation or failure to check-in, one night room rental would be charged for the events of cancellation after 04 April or no show.

No Show is deemed to be a cancellation.

All cancellations must be submitted to the Hotel directly in writing. An acknowledgement by e-mail, fax or post confirming that the cancellation has been received would be send out by the Hotel.
